19 miles today. I’m very pleased with that.
The morning was very busy with climbing. First Gulf Hagar Mountain, then West Peak and Hay Mountain.
The last big one to climb was White Cap Mountain. Here’s the first view of Mt Katahdin about 70 miles away. I can actually see the end. Very excited about that.
It looks like I’ll be summiting on the 23rd.
I’m in my tent. French Dip is also at this campsite. Glad to be in my tent rather then the trail since it’s starting to thunder.
That is so cool that you can see the finish! Although, I remember the Las Vegas marathon, you could see the finish for the least 8 miles. It was hard! Enjoy the last three days!

I can’t imagine how excited you (and your family!) are to be so close to the end. It sent shivers down me just reading it!
