Day 3 Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. August 30, 2018

Today was a day of exploring and preparing. This is the cabin we stayed in and the view.

We started with a trip to Jackson Hole Albertsons where w purchased some donuts. I also got a Starbucks from the most unfriendly employee on the planet.

Then we made a few purchases in town preparing for our hike. After that we decided to drive to the Idaho side of Grand Teton to see the view from there.

Later back in Jackson Hole we ate lunch at a french bakery.

In the afternoon we went on a five mile exploration hike. Then back for supper.

I’m not sure if we’ll get a signal tomorrow once we enter the backcountry, so you may not hear from us for three or four days.

  1. Great scenery, guess I knew that would be the case. Thanks for sharing. Oh yeah, did Ryan eat all of that dinner, I guess that is a foolish question if he paid for it. Have a safe, fun day.

  2. You men are sure eating well! By now you’ve surely stored up enough calories but I’m afraid when the bears get a whiff of those baked goods on your breath “you-know-what” might become your trailname. 😳😬🤫😂 Will look forward to hearing from you in a few days!
