This blog writing is a new thing for me. I am writing this as a test to make sure I have it right. I’m excited to get started on my journey. Amy and I spent last week in Albany, New York with our daughter Megan and our son in law Alex. While I was there I had the opportunity to do some training with their dog Ed. Both of my hikes were on the AT in Massachusetts. The first day was especially hard because of the deep snow and steep climb. The next day was better. I made it to the highest point in Massachusetts.
