Yellowstone and Grand Tetons September 7, 2018

Ryan woke me this morning at 5:30 because he wanted to drive to the section of Yellowstone you’re most likely to see wolves. No such luck. We did see between two and three hundred buffalo.

We also stopped to see a petrified tree.

Then it was on to Mammoth Hot Springs. We finally had breakfast here. We walked by all the hot springs and thermal features.

Then it was on to the Norris Basin Area. The thermal features here were just as amazing.

After that we decided to drive back and watch Old Faithful blow just one more time.

By the time we showered and ate supper it was time for bed, our tents that is.
