19 miles today. Very uneventful except that I’m back with Engineer, Maple Syrup, Coyote and Cheez.
Unbeknownst to me they took a zero yesterday. They rented a cabin at a state park. Engineer got sick one day also so that was an unscheduled zero.
I stopped at a shelter for lunch today and messaged them only to find out they were behind me. It’s so good to see them. 
This was the view from a fire tower today. 
The mosquitoes and flies got really bad today. I had to get out my bug net Amy bought me. 
There’s not many good tent spots here tonight.

Mike, glad u caught up with your crew. Shawn and I were hoping that you would because you have been with them almost the entire time. You continue to be a great inspiration. This is really fun to live through you this summer. Finish strong!

The mountaintop views have changed from the start of the trip. I’m sure it would be difficult to describe all of the amazing plant life you’ve seen. What a journey!
